Being a new technical blogger and a once-upon-a-time-lifestyle-blogger (I ran a blog years ago then stopped because inconsistency and life happens) I intend on starting again and this time creating a routine and hacks to keep to.
If you are new to blogging - technical or not, this short and straight to the point article contains hacks I have created that I believe would help me on my blogging journey and could be of help in providing pointers to start and maintain consistency, maybe be of help to anyone reading this too.
Have a Reason for starting - Stick to it.
Why do you want to start blogging? To document your growth? To share knowledge? To enhance your communication skills?
Whatever your reason is stick to it, document it so on days or periods when you feel demotivated you can always read through and be reminded why you started.
Stay Consistent - Create a sustainable routine.
Habits are responsible for every action we take and (ding! ding! ๐ ) habits are created through consistency.
"One bulb at a time. There was no other way to do it. No shortcuts" - Jaroldeen Asplund Edwards, The Daffodill Principle
and for one to continue being consistent an effective and sustainable routine is important, a routine created by you to suit you, it's okay to get motivated by others and get ideas from elsewhere in creating a routine but to make a routine easier for you to stick to it, it has to be one that you can sustain.
